
Customizing the Returned Feedback Email Template
Waypoint 2 accounts with the Administrator access will be able to edit, preview, and restore the template used to send email feedback to students when assessors select the “Return & Email” option when returning student work.
To access the Customizable Email Template, select the Email tab under Admin tab:
From here, Administrators can create or edit the email template by typing or placing the desired text in the “Message” text box (please note that this message must be composed in HTML to ensure formatting).
To add a direct link to Waypoint Assignment, in the message select where you would like to the link and click the [Link to Waypoint] button. To insert the Assignment’s name, select the [Assignment Name] button.
To preview how the email will appear to students, select the “Preview” button.
To save your changes, click the “Save” button in the lower right hand corner. To revert the message back to the default email template, click “Restore to Default”.
